For several decades, he has enjoyed a string of hits, producing albums that blend spirituality and social engagement. His career took off with "Ne La Thiass" (1995), produced by the legendary Youssou N'Dour. A true commercial success, tracks like "Set," "Né La Thiass," and "Bambay Gueej" became hits and made a lasting impression.
