AKAR, this four-letter word has a different meaning in several languages. It means “to disturb” in Hebrew; “root” in Sudanese or “will” in Hungarian. This polysemy is the Genesis of this group. Born in Brussels (Belgium) in 2021, the collective, made up of three women and one man, wants to establish a dialogue between cultures, peoples, continents, generations and differences through music.
