​Born in Saint-Louis, Senegal, Kmou began music with rap, before taking up the guitar. When the young artist performs on stage, mainly performing his first single “Love potion” (2023), he makes an impression with his remarkable mastery of live acoustic performances. His music is marked by an alliance between afro urban, afro soul, reggae, hip hop and afro jazz.
