Diabastar Ngoné Gueye, her real name, was born in Ivory Coast in 1986. Coming from a family deeply rooted in West African music and culture, the singer grew up in a home marked by Malian and Senegalese influences. Very early on, Ngoné Diaba also became interested in music. She admires her father who was once one of the musicians of a reggae legend: the Ivorian singer Alpha Blondy.
